NKG East Africa works directly with smallholder farmers and cooperatives to source high-quality coffee while building sustainable, resilient supply chains from the ground up.

The company provides support across the coffee value chain, from farm to export. Its local teams work alongside farmers through agronomy support, technical training and close collaboration to improve productivity, coffee quality and farm profitability. Through its Farmer Services Unit, agronomists provide hands-on support in soil health, nutrition management and climate-smart farming practices, including soil testing, pruning, mulching and pest and disease management.

NKG East Africa also works with coffee cooperatives through programmes such as NKG Bloom 2.0, which supports extension services and demonstration farms, certification, quality seedlings and strategic investment in cooperative infrastructure. The programme currently works alongside 13 coffee cooperatives across Kenya.

The company connects coffees from East Africa with markets around the world and works with local producers, cooperatives and international partners to strengthen coffee supply chains.
