Gil Levi

Gil Levi is a seasoned agribusiness leader with over 30 years of experience in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He currently serves as General Manager at Plantech Kenya Ltd. There, he oversees agribusiness operations, irrigation planning, and strategic development across Kenya.

Gil has focused on modern irrigation, precision agriculture, and sustainable farming practices. Previously, he led GL Consulting & Supplies, providing expert advice on farming technologies. He also held senior roles at Netafim Philippines, Nematic Filtration Pty, Universal Leaf Tobacco Company, and Lapanday Foods Corporation. In these roles, he delivered irrigation solutions, large-scale plantation projects, and water management programs.

Additionally, Gil has experience in education and capacity building. At the Galilee International Management Institute, he designed and implemented agricultural programs to share knowledge on sustainable practices.

He is recognized for his expertise in irrigation systems, water resource management, and agribusiness strategy. Gil combines strategic leadership with practical knowledge, helping farms and companies increase productivity while conserving resources. His work continues to support sustainable agriculture and efficient food production across East Africa and beyond.
