About
Wildfire Flowers is a family-owned flower farm located on the shores of Lake Naivasha in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Over the past two decades, the company has grown from a small family business into a leading producer of premium cut flowers, employing more than 600 people. The farm currently cultivates 18 hectares of greenhouse-grown roses and 23 hectares of outdoor-grown hypericum for export to international markets.
Wildfire Flowers adopts a holistic approach to horticulture with the goal of achieving self-sustainability and carbon neutrality. The company continuously improves its farming practices to produce premium flowers while minimizing its environmental impact. Its production systems incorporate sustainable practices such as vermiculture, biochar composting, and integrated pest management to support healthy crop production and responsible resource use.
Quality remains central to the company’s operations. Wildfire Flowers carefully monitors every stage of the growing cycle, while its quality control team inspects, grades, and prepares flowers in the packhouse before export. These processes help ensure that customers consistently receive flowers that meet high quality standards.
Environmental stewardship is a defining feature of the business. Wildfire Flowers is one of the few flower farms to achieve certified carbon-neutral status through One Carbon World, reflecting its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable floriculture.
The company also places strong emphasis on employee welfare and community development. A percentage of every flower stem sold supports community projects that improve local infrastructure and benefit employees, their families, and neighbouring communities.
Through sustainable production, environmental responsibility, and continuous investment in quality, Wildfire Flowers continues to strengthen Kenya’s reputation as a producer of premium cut flowers.
