About

Vinfarm is a diversified livestock and agricultural enterprise based in Eldoret, Kenya. The farm combines commercial livestock production, breeding services, training programs, and agricultural innovation under one operation. Unlike many specialized farms, Vinfarm manages a broad portfolio of animal enterprises. Its main animal products include Dorper sheep, dairy goats, pigs, rabbits, fish, poultry, ducks, geese, turkeys, ornamental pigeons, breeding stock, hatching eggs, fingerlings, meat animals, and livestock manure products. This diversified model allows the farm to serve farmers, breeders, and consumers across multiple agricultural sectors.

Dorper sheep are among the farm’s flagship livestock enterprises—Vinfarm supplies breeding rams, breeding ewes, and lambs to farmers seeking quality meat sheep genetics. The farm focuses on animals that perform well under Kenyan conditions and support profitable sheep production. They also maintain dairy goat breeds such as Saanen, Toggenburg, and Alpine goats. These animals provide farmers with opportunities to improve milk production while strengthening herd genetics.

The farm also operates successful pig, rabbit, and aquaculture units. Customers can purchase pig weaners, finishers, rabbit breeding stock, rabbit weaners, tilapia fingerlings, catfish fingerlings, and table fish. Vinfarm’s fish production also helps meet growing demand for aquaculture products in Kenya. This diverse livestock portfolio reduces production risks while creating multiple income streams throughout the year.

Poultry production forms another important part of the business. The farm raises Brahma chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and ornamental pigeons. It supplies breeding birds, chicks, ducklings, goslings, poults, and hatching eggs to farmers and hobby breeders. As a result, Vinfarm serves both commercial poultry producers and customers interested in specialty bird breeds.

Beyond livestock production, the farm supplies oyster mushrooms, mushroom spawn, azolla livestock feed, and organic manure products. It also offers farm tours, practical training programs, and agricultural education services. These activities help farmers improve livestock management while promoting modern farming practices. Moreover, Vinfarm developed its own farm management software to support record-keeping and farm efficiency.

As demand for quality breeding stock and livestock products continues to grow, Vinfarm remains an innovative contributor to Kenya’s agricultural sector. Its combination of livestock production, farmer training, and agricultural technology creates value across multiple value chains while supporting the growth of modern farming enterprises.
