The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB), established in 1978, is a premier private university located on the scenic greens of Baraton in Nandi County, Kenya. The Department of Biological Sciences and Agriculture, within the School of Science and Technology, offers diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs. Academic offerings include Agribusiness, Agricultural Technology, Agriculture with options in Animal Science, Crop and Soil Science, Horticulture, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Environmental Conservation, and General Biology. The department prides itself on its highly qualified faculty of 10 members and four skilled teaching assistants who mentor students in well-equipped laboratories and classrooms.
