Persea Oils focuses on sourcing high-quality avocados from smallholder farmers and converting the fruit into cold-pressed extra virgin avocado oil and crude avocado oil for international markets.

The company’s processing approach emphasizes quality preservation and minimal processing. Extra virgin avocado oil is cold-pressed at temperatures below 50°C to maintain its natural flavor, nutrients, and functional properties. Crude avocado oil undergoes settling and winterization processes to reduce wax content before dispatch. In addition to oil processing, the company utilizes avocado by-products to produce organic fertilizer known as Growlizer, a blend of composted avocado waste and vermicompost derived from black soldier fly larvae. The fertilizer supports soil health and crop productivity across various farming systems.

Persea Oils maintains a strong link with smallholder producers through direct sourcing arrangements. The company purchases fruit from certified Fair for Life partners and works with farmers who meet GlobalG.A.P. and organic production standards.
