Papa Farmers Ltd (PFL) is a Kenyan agribusiness and food processing company based in Gongoni – Fundisia, Kilifi County, along the East African coast. Established in late 2015, the company specialises in cultivating and processing African Bird’s Eye Chillies (ABE) and Moringa Oleifera for both local and international markets.
The farm spans approximately 40 productive acres, with 12 acres dedicated to chillies and 21 acres to moringa. The remaining land is reserved for future expansion. Papa Farmers manages production from nursery to harvest using modern, environmentally friendly methods. These methods focus on soil health, sustainable farming practices, and consistent high-quality outputs for fresh and dried products.
Papa Farmers actively supports local communities by providing training and stable employment. The farm employs between 30 to 80 people, giving long-term opportunities in areas with limited jobs. The company also plans education-focused and income-generating projects to improve literacy and economic prospects for marginalised families.
The company operates a vertically integrated model that covers planting, harvesting, processing, and packaging. Its products include fresh and dried chillies and moringa. By sourcing high-quality inputs and following strict quality controls, Papa Farmers ensures all products meet international standards for safety, nutrition, and consistency.
