Kuza One
Kuza One is a Kenyan social enterprise that transforms rural livelihoods through agriculture and entrepreneurship. Founded in Nairobi, the company trains rural youth, women, and small business owners to become agripreneurs. By doing so, it turns subsistence farming into sustainable agribusiness.
Kuza’s platform provides offline-capable micro-learning, crop advisory services, climate-smart farming guidance, access to quality inputs, credit opportunities, and market connections. Agripreneurs use the platform to support farmers in their communities. They offer practical guidance in real time and help improve farm productivity.
Through the Rural Entrepreneur Development Incubator (REDI) program, Kuza has trained thousands of youth. It has also reached hundreds of thousands of smallholder farmers across Africa and Asia. As a result, farmers earn higher incomes, and youth gain sustainable business skills. These efforts also boost food security and strengthen rural communities.
Kuza One has received global recognition for its social and environmental impact. It is a certified B Corporation, reflecting its strong performance in sustainability and community empowerment. Moreover, its innovative approach shows how technology can expand opportunities for smallholder farmers.
By combining community-driven entrepreneurship with scalable digital tools, Kuza One builds resilient rural economies. It creates opportunities, improves livelihoods, and fosters sustainable growth throughout the region.
