eProd Solutions Limited is an Africa-focused AgriTech company providing an integrated supply chain management system for agribusinesses, cooperatives, processors, traders, and development organizations. Founded in Kenya and launched commercially in 2015, eProd delivers a configurable, off-the-shelf platform that enables traceability, contract-farming management, certification compliance, and digital financial integration across agricultural value chains.

Originally developed in 2004 by Jan Willem and Almut van Casteren to manage smallholder chili and paprika outgrowers under Equator Kenya Ltd, the software evolved into a scalable commercial solution. Today, eProd operates in over 20 countries, serves more than 200 clients, and reaches approximately 350,000 smallholder farmers across 30+ agricultural sectors.

The platform supports diverse value chains, including dairy, grains, pulses, coffee, cocoa, horticulture, nuts, apiculture, spices, oil crops, poultry, and aquaculture. Core functionalities include farmer profiling, GPS and polygon farm mapping, input and loan tracking, procurement management, mobile payments integration, yield forecasting, certification data collection, ESG and MEAL reporting, and business intelligence dashboards. Notably, eProd’s traceability tools support compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks such as the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

Designed for flexibility, the system operates both online and offline, with Android mobile applications and cloud-based or LAN deployment options. Through APIs, eProd integrates with ERP systems, financial platforms, sensor technologies, and carbon monitoring tools.

The company collaborates with development partners, including GIZ, DAI, RTI, and ICRISAT, and was supported by the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund. Its mission is to simplify complex agricultural supply chains while strengthening equitable, data-driven partnerships between agribusinesses and farmers.
