Ecodudu is a leading waste-to-value company in Kenya, transforming organic waste into high-protein animal feed and organic fertilizer through the Black Soldier Fly (BSFL). The company sources organic waste from food producers and turns it into two main products: Dudumeal, a protein-rich animal feed, and Shambamix, a nutrient-dense organic fertilizer. Using a proprietary 45-day recycling process, BSFL larvae consume the organic material, producing safe, sustainable, and cost-effective alternatives to conventional protein feeds like fishmeal and soybean meal.

Ecodudu partners with organizations such as Ecovineyard to create a circular farming model. Fruit waste feeds the larvae, which then support ostrich and livestock farming, while the resulting organic fertilizer enriches vineyard soils. This integrated system enhances soil fertility, reduces environmental impact, and strengthens local food and feed production chains.
