Founded to connect farmers directly with verified sellers, the platform enables users to buy dairy cows, goats, and fodder while accessing information on animal health, breeding history, and production records. By eliminating intermediaries, Cowsoko improves market transparency and ensures fair prices for both farmers and buyers.

The platform offers feed comparison tools and least-cost feed formulation software, allowing farmers to mix feeds at home efficiently while maintaining quality. Cowsoko stocks a variety of feed and fodder products, including maize silage, baled and unbaled silage, and Brachiaria hybrid seeds suitable for hay and silage production. This approach reduces feeding costs and supports improved livestock productivity.

Cowsoko also provides a comprehensive learning ecosystem, including expert opinions, training materials, research outputs, and books on farm management. The resources cover topics such as dairy cow care, feed formulation, small-scale farm setup, and cow housing. Since its inception, the platform has registered over 127,000 users, facilitated more than 717 livestock transactions, and enabled over 978,000 publication downloads.
