Brookside Dairy Limited, founded in 1993, is Kenya’s largest dairy processing company and a leading milk producer in East and Central Africa. Headquartered in Ruiru, Kiambu County, Brookside began as a modest operation at Sukari Farm with only 33 employees and a daily processing capacity of 5,000 litres of milk. Inspired by nature and a commitment to wholesome nutrition, the company has since grown to serve millions of families across Kenya and the East African region.
Brookside’s operations focus on milk and milk product manufacturing, including fresh pasteurized milk, long-life UHT milk, yogurt, flavored milk, butter, ghee, and milk powder. The company also supplies export markets in the Indian Ocean Islands, Rwanda, Uganda, and Burundi, and has steadily expanded its product portfolio through innovation and technological investment. Its facilities combine state-of-the-art processing technology with stringent quality control, ensuring every litre undergoes 22 quality checks before reaching consumers.
